he's doing some pitching on KPFK, doug.  on the Roy of Hollywood show, midnight to six AM slot.   roy is a big booster of gary.  and a big booster of alternative medicine in general.  a terrific guy actually.  but a soft touch for guys like gary.   gary returns the favor, doing his son of pitch routine from time to time.   brings in the bucks

  Gary used to bring in big $ - for the station, and not incidentally 

  himself, since WBAI made his "reputation," and created the core of 

  his following. But he won't pitch - because he thinks it's beneath 

  his dignity. Someone else has to do the work for him.
