He met the leader of the Turkish Hezbollah? All I saw in those links was him meeting the member of Lebanese Hezbollah (which I remember, and strikes me as unremarkable).

As for the other stuff about links to Al-Quaida - I've not seen anything that didn't come from the usual Israeli disinformation sources.

I have trouble understanding why a shi'ite country, with no tolerance for Sunnis within its own borders (or Kurds for that matter), would be supporting a sunni extremist faction. Yes they supported the Lebanese Hezbollah (a totally seperate organistion), but they were shi'ites.

Leader of Hizbollah met w. Khatamei a few months ago. Saw the photo in the NYT.
