CB: Maybe. Doesn't animism go you one better and say that everything can
think right now ?  Steel is conscious. We don't have to make it any smarter
with AI. It's naturally intelligent.

Well, Leibniz didn't say everything could think, but he did say that monads 
were (sort of) conscious.

I think there may be something to this.
