This below (second excerpt) is, I suppose the relevant excerpt from the
Shalom piece you posted. There are any number of sources who polint to a
CIA-KLA connection, including this article from 'THE PROGRESSIVE'

--hackworth leaves something to be desired as a right wing militarist, but
why chossovudesky had to use far right wing conspiracists to make the point
that the KLA and CIA had connections is not at all clear.  i think that's
the point shalom was making, and at least the one i would make.  who needs
these types of 'allies'.
