Wanzala>...As to Jonestown, even radical lawyer Charles Garry lawyered for Jim Jones, and much of the left, especially in the Bay Area was enamoured of him. Much of the current left establishment in San Francisco were supporters/enablers of Jim Jones.* Even Angela Davis went to the Peoples Temple* and many leftists failed to realize - or ignored the fact - that he was a charlatan - until it was too late.

"I come with the black hair of a raven. I come as God socialist.!" - Jim Jones.

As I know, being a San Franciscan. Just after Jonestown, Michael Kazin in Socialist Review, wrote their editorial, "Jonestown and the Bay Area Left."

See this webpg. for photos of Jim Jones w/ Jerry Brown, Willie Brown, Charles Garry,Rev. Cecil Williams, George Moscone, Walter Mondale.
