[lbo-talk] crazy?

this change is in the works, DP. hatch of utah already has his "schwarzenegger bill" as it's called in congress -- an amendment to the constitution -- primed and ready to go. with a congressional majority of repubs, thanks to the democrat melt down in the off year election, and a republican "president," this bill has a good chance of passing and being signed. it will need to be ratified by the states; but does anyone think this will be a problem given the way public opinion in the US in manipulated and the mood of voters?

if the democrats had any sense, they'd be promoting the current governor of michigan, who's canadian, and as i understand it, an attractive, intelligent liberal female, before it's too late. but then, the dems always wait until it's too late, as they did in calif.

please don't get a false sense of security believing the constitution protects us from AS.

Won't happen, thanks to the Constitution. Ah-nald wasn't born here, and unless there's a major Constitutional change, he can't be prez.

For what that's worth.
