It was intriguing. I cannot say that I agreed with all he had to say, or his ideas regarding Pakistan (at least not in entirety) but there semed to be meat there.
For the curious, here is a piece about a session with Levy who is described at one point this way...

Right-wing or not, I am driven by love of a well turned phrase and stylish insouciance to have some degree of affection for a fellow who can say such things and inspire such strong and clever reactions.
