every single ever-lovin' day i have to drive what is called north lake 
road, a stretch connecting the towns in either side of a large lake. on 
that stretch is a house of worship for episcopalians, catholics, baptists, 
eastern orthodox, buddhists, jews, assorted "jiss christians," methodists, 
and holy hera's whores know what else.

the temple has a conventional roadside sign that invites people in to talk 
about the events of the world and of personal life--for fellowship.

the frickin' digital scrolling 30 ft high sign in front of one o' them thar 
"jiss christian" churches said, today, "life is just a temporary assignment."

(what? and they're the Kelly Girl Agency in town??)

well, i was jissa wishin' i had me a beebee gun and time for some target 
practice on that sign.
