Dear Mr. Dvorkin,
I recommend you see the transcript of Mr. Glick with Mr. Oreilly and
then refer to the distorted version that Mr. Oreilly put forth on Ms.
Gross's program:
Oreilly claims to Gross that Glick refferred to the attack as
an 'alleged attack' (actually he referred to Oreilly's claim his father
was assassinated as an 'alleged assassination'), that Glick
"blamed Bush and elder Bush for orchestrating the attack on the
country" (actually Glick said no such thing, he stated that Bush Sr's
policy, which predated Bush Sr. during the Carter administration, armed
the Mujahedin in the 1980's and that this contributed to the attacks on
911--not an unreasonable point, which even if you disagreed with it, it
remains clear he never claimed anything about 'orchestrating the
attack'). Finally Oreilly claims to Gross that he
"asked for evidence and he had none' (that never happened on Oreilly's
show, in fact he just cut him off and refused to debate the issues with
Glick) and that Glick made 'defamatory allegations'...(there were no
defamatory allegations, the claims that Glick made are backed up by no
less than interviews with such figures as Zbigniew Brzezinski among
others....
In a nutshell, look at the 'full transcript' that Oreilly blasted Gross
for allegedly not reading...and tell me that Oreilly didn't start out
the interview with an outright lie about Mr. Glick.
