If the Demo candidate makes one or more major promises (e.g., progressive
taxation, jobs program, withdrawal from Iraq, labor law reform, getting
tough on Israel, etc.), I'll probably vote for him/her, even though I fully
expect quick betrayal of the promise.  If we get another Gore-style
campaign, I'll vote Green.  If Gore had acknowledged Nader and adopted even
a single one of Nader's platform planks, I'd have voted for Gore last time,
BTW.
