My old hated antagonist James Duderstadt, ex prez of
the U of Michigan, and the target of a great deal of
static from me and mine over the years, has written an
attack on big time intercollegate atheletics as
iniminical to the purposes of university education.

 I speak as someone who graduated from both Michigana
nd Ohio State and never went to a  game at either
place. But I am a Cubs fan.
