8 PM C-SPAN REBROADCAST OF OCTOBER 25 RALLY IN WASHINGTON, DC
The march and rally today in Washington DC - estimated by march organizers to number 100,000 - will be rebroadcast this evening at 8:00 p.m. on C-Span 1.
This demonstration was a huge sucess, far exceeding organizers expectations. Busses started arriving before 8 a.m. and kept coming all day with a large number of busses arriving as late as 2 p.m. Throughout the day crowd swelled and the march took up more than 20 city blocks, including Washington's eight lane boulevards. A sister action in San Francisco drew 20,000 people into the streets demanding an end to the occupation of Iraq and calling for troops to be brought home now.
We want to thank the thousands of A.N.S.W.E.R. supporters and volunteers across the country who made these demonstrations a success.
Funds are urgently needed so that this movement can continue its renewed momentum and take the next steps. To donate online through our secure server go to http://www.internationalanswer.org/donate.html
