Agence France Press estimates the crowd yesterday at 25,000, which backs 
up my estimate. ;-)

"Some 25,000 protesters from across the nation demonstrated near the 
Washington Monument. Organizers said buses picked up participants from 
New York City to Philadelphia, and as far away as Cleveland and brought 
them to Washington, DC for the march(AFP/Luke Frazza)"
