A group for ex-KGB thugs can run Russia better?

Well, I don't thik being ex-KGB is necessarily negative.

Since the KGB is supposed to have been the least

ideologically, most competent and most patriotic

part of the Sov gov., it might even be a plus.

Well, this whole discussion is quickly becoming academic

– the actions against the company and Khordorkovsky have ended

both in a sense. The company will exist for a long time to come,

its primary purpose to function as some kind of revenue stream

for the Kremlin (something on par as Gazprom). Khordorkovsky

will lose everything – remember his shares in the company are

paper – it’s the oil in the ground that makes him wealthy –

he has lost that. The greatest rags to riches to rags story

in history. (I don’t feel sorry for him either).

As for your weird worship of the KGB, good to hear you got a

new visa. The next visa for the both of us became a lot harder

as of last Saturday. How you can call these people competent is

terrifying. You need to get a TV – the thugs hardly looked

competent. Chris, what do you suppose the FSB found searching

Khordorkovsky daughter’s primary school records? Even during

the Soviet period lawyers defending clients weren’t hauled

in for questioning by the KGB. The list of what has happened

over the past few months is long and disturbing. I suggest you

make yourself as legal as possible, I am.
