You're joking, right? The U.S. military not only pumps $400 billion a year into the world economy that otherwise wouldn't be there, it also polices cheap oil, which is the basis for the the autos-ueber-alles transportation systems of North America, which, in turn probably account for 33 percent of GDP here, Canada included.
This is all without even mentioning the more general policing of the Third World and its cheap commodity exports.
And Canadians imagine we're the only deluded ones!
