[lbo-talk] Digesting equality

A very interesting picture of the advance of equality in India. Good to 
see that the struggle is continuing. Also interesting to compare the 
role of schools as a site of social struggle in that country with the 
same role of U.S. schools. Of course, we don't have a history of formal 
castes, but much the same battles are fought every day in somewhat more 
subtle and harder-to-recognize forms.
