By the way, Fisk wrote of the "neoconservatives," meaning the Bush 
admin and its pet intellectuals. Many lefter-than-thou types think 
Bush has nothing to do with it - it's all the falling rate of profit 
or the euro or the deep inner needs of American capitalism driving 
policy in the Mideast. Fisk seems not to agree.
