There was an essay here in the Kansas City Star several weeks ago about how the culture wars are over and how the right-wing lost everything. It mentioned the fact that most of the population is comfortable with pornography and pointed our the dearth of court cases revolving around porn and obscenity.
As is the case with much of the stuff in the Star, the column was probably syndicated, so this column may have appeared elsewhere.
It's also worth noting the number of anti-war letters to the editor in the KC Star, as well as the amount of news and opinion on the economy.
