The best source of info on religious affiliation in the U.S. comes out of two surveys by CUNY researchers. Results are reported in a rather rough graphic at <http://www.gc.cuny.edu/studies/key_findings.htm>. Other reports of religious affiliation are unreliable, coming as they do mostly from the churches themselves. The U.S. Census Bureau is forbidden to ask religion questions.
