Moscow, Sept. 11. Vladimir Putin is to sign the decree to appoint Aslanbek Aslakhanov for the position of assistant to the president of the Russian Federation, a high-ranking Kremlin source told RIA Novosti. It was added, Aslakhanov would be in charge of problems in Russia's south. Comment: It looks like everyone running for the Chechen presidency will be "president" in one form or another!
