Chris, the story is not so huge. Hints of this were already evident before and during the Saudi visit to Moscow. There was big talk about bilateral oil & gas relations (it was only talk). The primary purpose of the visit was to start ironing out bilateral political relations. The Saudi regime is looking for Russia support in the region.
