Well indeed. My favorite cocktail party question to shut up yahoos who insist on calling themselves 'Libertarian' or 'A liberal in the classic, laissez faire sense';
'Why is you people want to deregulate the market and let business run amuck, but you can't wait to get the state to execute people (with a farcical nod to due process along the way), regulate personal morality, including what women do with their reproductive organs or what consenting adults do with their genitalia in the privacy of their own homes?'
Throwing in a comment about no one ever being remotely interested in THEIR reproductive organs or genitalia usually sends them slinking off.
