Bertram Gross wrote FRIENDLY FASCISM, but Sinclair Lewis wrote IT CAN'T HAPPEN HERE.  BTW, Bush seems a bit reminiscent of the President -- "the Chief" -- in the latter book, General "Buzz" Windrip.
