both anarchists and those of the "socialism from below" camp (e.g., me) want to "put the power back into the hands of working people." The problem is who has the more practical plan on how to do that. Anarchists seem to favor totally decentralized power, which seems to ignore the existence of nation-wide and world-wide problems that need to be solved (e.g., global warming).
I always wonder what happens in an anarchist society if the workers' co-op down the river democratically decides to build nuclear power plants -- and nuclear weapons so that they can conquer the other co-ops.
