Apply the above argument to aprtheid-era South Africa: "If there's 'one 
state' and universal suffrage, then very quickly the current government 
will be voted out of power; those who will be voted in will have no 
interest in what is the current "White nation of South Africa.'...  End of 
story.  Right?"
