<HTML>Rachel Corrie, the ISM activist killed by an IDF bulldozer yesterday, was front page story, above the fold in today's Seattle Post-intelligencer. Story carried a HUGE picture of her standing in front of a giant bulldozer. Sadly no brand name was visible. See the story, played more understatedly on www.seattle-pi.com (The PI is a Hearst paper, but the editor seems to have guts about this and many other topics.) There is a decent story in the other local paper, www.seattletimes.com, but I have not seen the print edition to see how it was placed. Local media reports say that last night's 7pm Vigil around the world observance in Olympia turned into an impromptu memorial for Rachel. I was at the 7pm Seattle vigil, and there was a memorial space for her there too, with candles, pictures, paper for people to write memorial comments. DoreneC </HTML>
