<DIV>Recall that when Daniel Ortega sought to run for mayor of Managua not long
ago, the Bush gang said that his election would pose "problems" for the region
and that they would not look positively on that. In the spirit of democracy,
Ortega withdrew. Say what you want about the Sandinistas or Ortega himself --
neither is in the same blood-splattered league as Montt, a mass murderer
possessed by evangelical visions. </DIV>
