An Unlikely Alliance

Summary

Though the recent death of SCIRI leader Ayatollah Mohammad Baqir 
al-Hakim would appear to be raising the level of turmoil within 
Iraq, it might in fact help to push the United States and Iran 
toward a powerful -- if seemingly unlikely -- alignment.
