"Crore" is Indian English for "karod" (10 million) in Indian languages. Similarly,"lakh" is widely used in Indian English for identical word in Indian languages for 100,000."Crore" is not used outside India.

Btw, the next major outsourcing wave to India could be in auto components. India should export auto components worth $ 1bn in the fiscal 03-04.
