HindustanTimes.com Wednesday, September 24, 2003 LTTE employs students to clean graveyard: Report Indo-Asian News Service Colombo, September 24 Sri Lanka's Tamil Tiger guerrillas asked some 170 students to skip school and clean a cemetery dedicated to fallen comrades in the northern peninsula of Jaffna, media reports said on Wednesday. The incident reportedly took place on Tuesday, and the affected students were from the Thirunavukkarusu Maha Vidyalaya. The graveyard of "martyrs' was located at Koddikamam in Jaffna. The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) was quoted as saying that the school authorities gave permission to the children to perform the task.
