She brought me into a world of rich kids, which was quite entertaining and frightening. There was one guy (can't remember his name) who had millions in his trust fund, but wanted to be "down," and when he met me -- a guy who lived in a heroin building off Ave B -- he was estatic and tried to impress me with his coke use and frequent bashings of the capitalist system. He'd go on and on about how his father's associates were imperialist pigs who deserved to be hanged, how he was gonna wear a hammer & sickle t-shirt at his next family gathering, etc. Of course, I later heard that he'd joined his father's law firm on Park Ave. Wonder if he ever wore the commie shirt to work?</DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV>DP</DIV></BLOCKQUOTE> <P></P></BODY></HTML>
