Rahul Mahujan below says foreign Wahhabis are fighting in Falluja. Do you ever not knee jerk? http://www.empirenotes.org/

--odd, i run a search for 'wahabi' at that site...nothing. Rahul has consistently said that the estimate of 'foreign' fighters by the US is a huge exaggaration...exactly how that his web site demonstrate that i'm being either 'black and white' or 'knee jerk'? Geras uses one standard for the 'coalition' and a wholly different standard for the 'terrorists'... I prefer Rahul's approach which dispassionately first clarifies what the resistance is made up of, the less than desirable politics of certain factions (i.e. sadr...) and then describes how the occupation invariably makes necessary armed resistance. i don't see what is black and white, knee jerk, or wrong about such an approach. it's far more informed by on the ground reality than Geras' politicised polemics.
