88% Think U.S. Biased Towards Israel, Says Poll ---------------------------------

In a poll of international news sites, only 10% of 1,280 readers said they thought the U.S. was equally fair to the Israeli and Palestinian sides in its efforts to broker peace in the Middle East.
The question to respondents was, "Do you think the U.S. is biased towards Israel in the Middle East conflict?."
35% responded, "Yes, but this is ok."
19% selected, "It is not an honest broker," while 13% responded, "U.S. support for Sharon is 100%."
21% of voters said, "It (the U.S.) backs Israel unreservedly."
Only 2% said the U.S. favoured the Palestinian side.
Overall the poll of over 200 news sites in major cities and countries of the world reflected that 88% of readers saw the U.S. as favouring Israel, compared to 2% for the Palestinian side, while 10% thought the U.S. was equally fair.
