LAHORE: Police in Pakistan's Gujarat region have arrested a Tanzanian national, who was on the Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI) most wanted list.
Ahmed bin Khalfan was arrested along with his Uzbek wife and kids from a house in Gujarat on Sunday, The News reported.
Khalfan, who carried a reward of 25 million dollars on his head, was arrested after a 14-hours gun battle in which one policeman was injured.
The FBI wanted him for his involvement in the bombings of American embassies in Tanzania, Kenya and Darus Salaam in Nairobi.
It is expected that Khalfan and others will be handed over to the FBI after the Pakistan authorities complete their interrogation.
