For those interested.  Jim McGreevy of NJ resigned effective November  15 
because he is gay.  My wife works in Woodbridge, NJ school district and  she had 
told me this was an open secret when he was mayor.  I can't believe  he is 
resigning for that.  They are saying how brave he is, but the brave  and right 
thing to do would have been to stay.  All in all a terrible week  for those of 
us who are agaisnt anti-gay bigotry.
