I couldn't agree with this assertion more. And aside from the silly sniping about certain issues, th eleft does agree on some basic things. I found this article by Christian Parenti in In These Times (http://www.inthesetimes.com/site/main/article/winning_the_war_of_ideas/) -- granted not a really "revolutionary" or "independent socialist" magazine like some of our other left-wing pubs, but one of the better -- worth a read. I don't think it is a complete perscription for what is being discussed in this thread, but it might be useful.
