Dear Colleagues,

I am very pleased to announce that Pacifica's new Internet radio station has been launched.

Operating out of WBAI's studios in New York, it will stream a combination of live programs and on-demand audio archives. The Internet radio player contains links to all five Pacifica stations’ Web sites and to the interactive forums page on the Pacifica.org site. There’s also a gallery of animated photos on the player.

You can listen to all of Pacifica's special coverage of the Republican National Convention in the week ahead at this Web-based station. You can also listen, at your convenience, to existing Pacifica programming like Democracy Now and Free Speech Radio News as well as commentaries and analyses from progressive scholars, writers, journalists and activists.

This Web station aggregates programming from the Pacifica network and its affiliate stations and delivers alternative, independent radio to a global Internet audience.

Check out this exciting new innovation by clicking on the link below and thanks again for your support of WBAI and Pacifica Radio.

Peace & Justice, Don Rojas General Manager/WBAI
