I've often wondered about that, actually. Almost all the violent videogames are solidly Leftwing - some outrageously so (Half Life, Max Payne, Grand Theft Auto). They're essentially Vietcong stories - outwit superior firepower with brain cells and cunning. It's the nonviolent games -- sports and sims etc. -- which are paeons to capitalist accumulation.
