Dunno, but this is starting to sound like Japan ca. 1988: the almighty industrial, and increasingly financial, power flattening half the landscape and buying up the rest. Senior government officials lecturing the U.S. on the need to get its house in order. A few years later, and the bubble burst. China's not going to go away (neither has Japan), but...
