Yes, but I think U.S. culture is really different from 1917 Russia.
There were a *few* barricade-mounters in France in 1967 (just as there are a *few* Americans hot to trot now--most of them on this list, I'll bet). But unless I've missed something, there actually was no revolution in France then.
