Fox is not a neutral messenger just mirroring the public's opinion, it 
is a feedback resonating chamber which takes the message of what was/is 
a minority opinion and hightens its frequency and amplifies it, then 
throws it back on the listening public, gets them resonating at the 
higher frequency and then takes that again and ups the ante. Now you got 

  the Fox news message frequency pouring out to all the 'Clear Channel' 
stations.

Why not 'kill the messenger'? (as the saying goes)
