I always thought it was very cool that Adbusters locks down their sales website for Buy Nothing Day. No subscriptions, no "blackspot" sneakers... spoofcards.

But seriously. Yes, of course, a tax-based protest would be better. But a one day shopping boycott would be much easier to make happen.
