Or IRS, when I came west I discovered houses with a 25 year warranty on the roof ? talk about disposable. A bearing went in my washing machine so I stripped it down and went round to the local service shop expecting to replace the offending part only to find the complete motor was cheaper than the individual bearing and seals. The service guy said it was cheaper for a technician to replace the motor than diagnose/strip and replace hence the pricing ?? But cheaper than the sum of it's parts ?
