And so the answer is Shi'ite Islamism or Ba'ath nationalism? Only if you aren't picky about your anti-imperialists. But I am -- for all the good it will do anyone -- and I don't think so.
John Lacny has already pointed out how the ICP has support where it _really_ counts --- in the workplaces. They also appear to have a appreciation of what it would take to have a fully developed, modern communist society, as opposed to the pissant varieties of pseudo-socialism in place in (Ba'athist) Syria or (Shi'ite Islamist) Iran.
