I asked, somewhat rhetorically, if we are to call soldiers liars should their direct experience in Iraq clash with what we read in the Guardian or at Counterpunch. I didn't say that *you* called the guy a liar, nor did I call *you* a liar. I took off from your incredulous statements ("Does the guy speak fluent Arabic?" etc.) and that was it. Obviously, so I thought.

CB: But it might still be politically correct to reserve final judgment on the accuracy of a soldier's expressions on the situation in Iraq, and even, maybe, raise a question or two about what a solider might say, no ? Or does that violate the Correct Line ?
