How true, on all counts. The reaper's been busy this week: Ann Miller, Helmut Newton, the Captain. To top it off, The Bottom Line, New York's finest rock venue, also bit the dust this week.

I loved this show as a kid. It was intelligent, funny and strange -- Bunny Rabbit and Mr. Moose were my faves -- and Keeshan had a quiet elegance that gave the show its distinctive pace. Of its time, though, sorry to say. Wouldn't stand a chance against today's cybermadness and noise.
