Yes. Even Chomsky seemed unconcerned with the long range effects of the PA,
citing the decades-long civil rights/libertarian movements as adequate forms
of defense. While we should be on guard against any assaults on freedom,
from both wings of the state, we should also recognize that societal
protections have been built and do work, take pride in that and build on
those successes.
