[lbo-talk] Why do they hate Moore?

As one of the two people who voted against him in the LBO poll, and I can
say that I don't hate Moore, but I don't like him.  Primarily I don't like
how he makes wild, speculative arguments, when he could make precise and
accurate ones.  Why bother with the stuff about whether Bush flew out the
Bin Laden family after 9/11  when you can make concrete arguments about the
Bush family and the Saudi Arabia?  I also do find him to be a purported
populist who makes fun of ordinary people for his own purposes.   I suppose
in general I don't like his attempt to inflame through emotional appeals
that are sometimes based on a slipshod grounding in facts.
