a mozilla-based browser is the only way to go on a mac, imo: camino or firefox, both are excellent. camino is superior on security and pretty much indisputably the fastest, lightest browser available. both are now built on the same gecko engine as mozilla 1.7, and actually more stable (if you can believe that).
