Would unions get less from the Democrats if they simply worked on voter registration and education without endorsing any Democratic candidate and without making any financial contributions to the Democratic Party or individual DP candidates or DP front groups during the caucuses and primaries and the general election?

Wouldn't unions get more from the Democrats if they did the above while challenging the Democrats from the left?

Wouldn't unions be better off if they built up the Green Party or the Labor Party or whatever they like to the left of the Democratic Party in such "red states" as Alaska, Kansas, and Texas? -- Yoshie
